Our focus is our strength. The firm's founders have been active in the consulting industry for more than 10 years each as analysts, authors, and practitioners. Their experience has resulted in an unparalleled network among the world's leading consultancies.

The Hocquet Group is distinguished by offering clients:

  • An unparalleled consultant network
  • Globally recognized industry knowledge
  • Strict focus on management and IT consulting
  • Value added advisory services and insights

We limit our client base and accept only retainer engagements for senior-level consultants. By working with a select few clients at any given time, we are able to delve deeply into engagements to find the ideal combination of individual and firm.

We've spent years analyzing hundreds of consultancies and developing an unparalleled network of senior-level consultants. Our highly referenced analysis of the industry -- and our widely quoted commentary on critical consulting issues - allows us to identify the distinct cultural differences that separate successful firms.

This unique combination of industry knowledge and individual networks allows us to help our clients acquire and retain world-class professional talent.

Philosophy

Our mission is to match high-performance professionals with extraordinary industry opportunities. Consulting is based on trust and we fiercely protect our relationships with consultants and firms. In the consulting business, "our employees are our most important asset" is more than just a mantra, it's a harsh reality. The cost of a poor recruit-particularly at the senior level-can cost a firm millions of dollars.

The best way to assure success means understanding the needs of both the firm and the consultant. At The Hocquet Group, we recognize that the values of an individual must match those of the consulting firm. Aligning individual desires with organizational culture is the most important consideration in professional services. A successful match corresponds directly to bottom-line results.

By incorporating these fundamental tenets into our operating philosophy, The Hocquet Group is able to match the best consultants with their ideal opportunities. The success of The Hocquet Group explicitly depends on consistently meeting these expectations.

Our World

The term consulting means very different things to different people, in the U.S. and throughout the world. For The Hocquet Group, consulting includes the global management consulting and IT services providers, and is defined primarily by the competitive landscape. These firms span the service continuum and include everyone from pure business strategists to global outsourcing companies, with myriad specialty firms in between. The common thread that links these diverse advisors is some level of consulting capability.
